This is a richly coated specimen of orange vanadinite crystals which have replaced Wulfenite. The crystals are well formed and cover multiple sides of the rock. The Rowley mine was discovered in 1900 and was mined until 1923. The commodity list for the mine is extensive: Copper, Lead, Gold, Silver, Molybdenum, Vanadium, Baryte, and Fluorite was all mined here. Because of this, a diversity of minerals can be found at this locality (Mindat lists 70).
