Native to the Mediterranean and Asia, rosemary derives its name from the Latin words “ros” and “marinus,” or “dew of the sea.” An evergreen shrub in the mint family, it grows abundantly in rocky coastal regions. Rosemary essential oil has an invigorating aroma that can be used to create an environment conducive to work or study. It is often included in soaps, fragrances, shampoos, and household cleaners and is a key ingredient in our Thieves® essential oil blend.
