Patchouli oil improves the appearance of dry skin, reduces the appearance of blemishes, and has a calming and grounding aroma commonly used in perfumes that promotes feelings of calm and peace.
Native to Indonesia, patchouli is a bushy herb in the mint family that typically grows to a height of 2–3 feet and produces small white or pink flowers. Its leaves were used traditionally as a flavoring or herbal tea. Patchouli essential oil contains the naturally occurring constituent patchoulol, which contributes to its earthy aroma. A common base note in perfumes, Patchouli creates a calming and grounding environment when diffused or inhaled and can also be applied topically to moisturize the skin.
Diffuse Patchouli with Lavender or Ylang Ylang to create a serene environment.
Add it to your favorite body lotion for its aroma and moisturizing benefits.
Add a few drops to your facial wash or moisturizer to help promote clear skin.
Mix it with Orange, Jasmine, and Palo Santo in a roller bottle and top off with V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex to create a rich, woodsy-floral perfume.
Topical: Apply 2–4 drops directly to desired area. Dilution not required, except for the most sensitive skin. Use as needed.
Aromatic: Diffuse up to 1 hour 3 times daily.
